Content on singlemommeet is AI-assisted and human-edited. Drafts are produced with the help of AI tools, then reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our editorial team before publication.

Sourcing & statistics

Every statistic we publish is verified against a primary source (the original study, government data, or the company's own reporting) and named in the same sentence it appears. The full list lives on our sources page and statistics page. Numbers we cannot trace to a primary source do not get published.

Corrections

Found an error? Email hello@singlemommeet.com. We correct factual errors within a week, note the correction on the affected page, and update the page's modified date honestly — it only changes when the content substantively changes.

singlemommeet is an independent publication. Some links are affiliate links: if you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Affiliate status never changes a verdict, and every affiliate link is marked.

AI transparency

Every image on this site is generated, and every one carries a visible label saying so. Photorealistic frames are marked AI-generated image rather than the softer “illustration”, because a photograph-like picture of people is exactly the case where a reader could otherwise assume the people are real. They are not: no person in any image here exists, and no image is a photograph of anyone who writes this site. Charts drawn by us are marked Diagram. No image on this site depicts a child.
